In the wake of the spellplague, the world as mortals knew it is gone. The great warring civilizations of the bygone era have been reduced to dust and echoes, their great cities turned to ash and blown away. Few survivors yet live, grotesquely mutated by the spellplague into the plaguescarred, roaming a new world that seems a single, endless wasteland. A handful of unlikely allies find themselves affected, the spellplague warping time around them and throwing them into a quest to find a spark of hope in the darkest hour.
